Welcome! Here are several galleries with many pictures of a total rebuild of more than half a house. The job is to increase the inside ceiling height from just over 5 feet at the back of the house to a usable 8 foot ceiling. There is only one way to do that - build a gable over the house. There were many custom requests to be done as we went - check out the patio - and it covers almost all aspects of home improvement work. The new rafters cannot go onto an out of level rotting wall, the new wall needs to go onto a good foundation, and a good foundation means digging deep for concrete. It's all here, in the pictures that follow. This is my current 'gig' and many more pictures are on their way! It's interesting how much having a website makes one want to take pictures.
